A LIFETIME OF EXPERIENCE PUT TO PRACTICE
Gidday mate!
That’s how we like to welcome everyone—friendly, approachable, and genuinely happy to see you… unlike some machines we’ve serviced that look like they’ve survived a small war.

I grew up on a Marlborough sheep farm, milked cows from Invercargill to Rakaia, spent a decade on South Canterbury power lines, worked in landscape maintenance driven everything from trucks and tractors to bulldozers and zero turn mowers, and fixed or serviced just about every ride-on mower from the start of the alphabet, Husqvarna to Walker in the region. Basically, if it moves (or should move), I’ve seen it.

What I’ve learned? Good service is honesty, reliability, and value for money. No guessing how long it’ll take. No charging for hours we didn’t use. No marking up parts like they’re gold-plated.

At Sharp and Ready, you’ll always know the price, what’s being done, and any extra issues are explained face-to-face with all options and costs laid out—so no surprises, unless it’s how clean your chainsaw is afterwards.
We might not have a flashy shop, but our service, reliability, and integrity are the real deal.
